For Keiana’s Business Practices in Graphic Design course (2022), the class was put into teams to act as design firms. The first project they were tasked with was to rebrand True Earth - a company that focuses on holistic remedies for the Earth and body. This was a real world project to present the finals to the owner of True Earth, Claude Galipeau, as he would choose a new branding aesthetic from the groups. Through research, interviews, and a heavy design process, Keiana and her group created everything from a position statement, to moodboards, to a full new brand guideline including attributes, color palettes, typefaces, primary and secondary logos, as well as stationery, a website, and labels for possible products using mockups. Out of six groups, Keiana and her group won over Claude Galipeau and he chose their final presentation to be the new look for True Earth. The group was compensated for their work and signed over release contracts.
